In all types of searches at any location, safety is crucial to the success of the institution. The discretion and confidentiality that FDK9 LLC provides is the ideal way to avoid any messy, and unnecessary publicity. The results of our searches are strictly for your use only. 

Our contracts are bound by a confidentiality agreement with each client that keeps any findings discreet and strictly private. In the event of an alert, the K9 handler will notify the client of the suspected location of the contraband in question. First Defense K9 LLC will not take any further steps after detection has been made.

We offer a variety of K9 team services to fit the safety needs of your specific business,  or location. We realize that each location and facility is unique. Our expert leadership can advise and custom tailor our detection dog services to fit the needs of your specific organization. We provide non-intrusive searches everywhere. from single family homes to concerts to sports Stadiums and more.

We also offer multiple K9 and handler detection training programs for law enforcement,  licensed security K-9 teams, and government agencies.  

In addition, we also offer our training services to select qualified  individuals looking to gain the knowledge needed, to pursue a future career as a detection dog handler. 

At FDK9 LLC we take great pride in training our dogs and always treating each one with the respect and dignity they deserve. We believe K9 comfort, safety, security, and well-being are paramount. Our dogs are trained using operant conditioning or positive reinforcement, where the dog is incentivized to perform during a simulated scenario. This method has been proven to be the most efficient training technique within the industry, to ensure peak performance in the field. Our K9 teams carry at least 1-2 certifications. This ensures a system of superior checks and balances to keep dogs and their handlers at peak performance.

With all events spaces, hospitals, schools, shelters, and other locations, prevention is always key to ensure a safe and secure environment for all visitors and staff. We suggest daily, weekly, bi weekly, or monthly detection searches to successfully maintain the safety of community members, clients, staff, and visitors.

At FDK9 LLC we strive to meet the needs of each individual client. Before your search, each client is given an option of how they would like the search to be conducted; whether you would like full discretion, or additional exposure for further deterrence. Our teams will follow all instructions given by our clients to ensure a successful client experience.

Most departments don’t have the resources now days to consistently commit to the growing demands of the public and increasing rise of threats towards specific facilities. In turn they cannot always be available to attend public and private events/venues unless they receive a credible threat. 

To assist in keeping law enforcement officers in  essential community safety roles, our K9 teams have proven to be an extremely effective and comprehensive solution. Alone or when combined with active patrols of the grounds, metal detectors, 3rd party security staff, solid access controls, and video surveillance.

*At FDK9 we are able to imprint our dogs on various odors law enforcement may not have probable cause to search for or a designated K9 for that task. This gives us a vast range of substances/contraband we can locate as we assist you. 

Though our detection K9s and their handlers are trained and certified to work detection in the same manner, we are not law enforcement or any type of government agency. We provide confidential, discreet searches. We’re not required to notify the law of our findings. We also have no authority to make an arrest. The confidential nature of FDK9 searches gives parents, employers, school administrators and others the opportunity to use the appropriate discretion for the situation at-hand. It is ultimately left  to them to notify law enforcement.
